What we wanted to do is give you our opinion based on the feedback that it has received, you can of course read all of these reviews over Amazon.com, we wanted to pick out a five-star review that has mentioned the 12.5 feet version of this ladder.
They mentioned that as a homeowner they need a tool ladder for quite a lot of work, they currently had an 8-footstep ladder but sometimes this wasn’t enough in terms of height.
They wrote the review just after the Christmas holiday and they actually purchased this ladder to be able to take down all of the Christmas decorations. They love the idea of the extendable extension ladder; this will also save a lot of space when it is not in use and they also mentioned that it is very easy to transport from place to place around the home.
The only thing that they did mention, which is a common downside of using an extension ladder is that you need to be careful not to pinch your fingers when you are retracting the ladder. The Ohuhu 8.5 FT Aluminum Telescoping Ladder is no different and you do run the risk of doing this if you are not careful. It is just something to bear in mind and if you have used ladders before you probably already know that this can be a problem.
That said, you will find on this particular model that you have a new design with red descending control keys, these are located underneath each rung and the one-button retraction feature seems to be an upgrade from previous versions, they also mentioned that they would come back and update, but initial signs are very good.
